We’re now under two months away from the Local Government Elections.

This election will be different from any in recent memory, as this year, Ryde residents will be directly electing their Mayor.

I’m honoured to be leading a Ryde Labor team that will:

– Clean up the Liberals’ civic centre mess
– Progress plans for a new car park and community centre in Eastwood
– Advance the West Ryde Masterplan
– Restore integrity to Ryde Local Government

The Liberals have controlled Ryde Council for three years, yet they have nothing to show for it.

Make no mistake; this isn’t a coincidence. We know the Liberal Party is anti-local Government.

We are not. We believe Local Government has the power to change lives. Labor Councils have done so before, and we know because Ryde was one of them.
