The City of Ryde Liberals have failed its residents, and business owners, with the scrapping of Labor’s initiatives and have overseen total inaction over their last two years in office.

Labor’s Ryde Central design and construction – a Civic Centre for staff and a much-needed auditorium / cultural centre at Top Ryde. It was fully costed, designed, contracted and first sod turned – The Liberals have overseen the complete abandonment of this project.

Labor’s Eastwood Masterplan – a fully developed master plan including traffic studies and a new car park to replace the aging Glen Street car park – The Liberals have thrown this masterplan out and nothing has happened since.

Labor’s West Ryde Masterplan – fully developed master plan to rejuvenate West Ryde into a dynamic shopping precinct – The Liberals have thrown this masterplan out and nothing has happened since.

We demand that immediate action is taken to develop the City if Ryde’s major shopping precincts and The heart of Ryde – our civic centre at Top Ryde.
